As a part of the Interarts Showcase, I collaborated on a project titled Rope Dance with fellow interartist Claire Zimmeth. It was an improvised movement piece in which Claire and I played with the power dynamics within human relationships. The 3 minute piece began with us tying ourselves together with a piece of rope, then communicating with each other solely by tugging, shaking, being pulled/dragged by the rope. We performed 2 iterations of this performance, each performance slightly different.
