Hi! I'm Levin. I'm here.

I like creating things that matter, from research, to user experiences to technology-based art and everything in between. I use my work as a time machine, to critically think about how it can impact the future, how it is born from the present, and how it can engage with the past.

I'm particularly interested in exploring the intersections of technology, performance, and gender through a variety of practices, including academic research, design, and theater. Currently, I'm conducting research at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society alongside the Ethics and Governance of Artificial Intelligence Initiative, focusing primarily on projects examining the notion of inclusion and emerging governance strategies with respect to AI.  Previously, I was an intern with the Youth and Media team working on issues in AI & inclusion and the digital economy.

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2017 with a B.A. in Women’s Studies and a B.A. in Drama, and minors in computer science and art/design. During my time at Michigan, I served as the Managing Video Editor for the Michigan Daily, and also gained experience working as an Emerging Technologies (VR/AR) consultant for the Digital Media Commons and a UI/UX designer with 11 startups in Ann Arbor through the Desai Accelerator.

I'm originally from South Korea, but I currently call Boston home. After five years, I finally (sort of) understand American football. Take a look around my portfolio, my resume, and feel free to get in touch with me via the channels below! Ask me about my puppies, cyborgs, and my latest culinary adventures!
