Hi! I'm Levin. I'm here.  

 

I like creating things that matter, from research, to user experiences to technology-based art and everything in between. I use my work as a time machine, to critically think about how it can impact the future, how it is born from the present, and how it can engage with the past. 

​

I'm particularly interested in exploring the intersections of technology, performance, and gender through a variety of practices, including academic research, design, and theater. Currently, I'm conducting research at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society alongside the Ethics and Governance of Artificial Intelligence Initiative, focusing primarily on projects examining the notion of inclusion and emerging governance strategies with respect to AI.  Previously, I was an intern with the Youth and Media team working on issues in AI & inclusion and the digital economy.

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2017 with a B.A. in Women’s Studies and a B.A. in Drama, and minors in computer science and art/design. During my time at Michigan, I served as the Managing Video Editor for the Michigan Daily, and also gained experience working as an Emerging Technologies (VR/AR) consultant for the Digital Media Commons and a UI/UX designer with 11 startups in Ann Arbor through the Desai Accelerator.

I'm originally from South Korea, but I currently call Boston home. After five years, I finally (sort of) understand American football.
